Built for listening, not browsing
Search for a show, subscribe, and that’s the whole setup. Everything else is about the episode in your ears.
A player that stays out of the way
Speeds from 0.5× to 3×, with a different speed for each show if you like. Skip lengths you choose. Lock-screen controls, and skip forward and back from your earbuds.
Fall asleep mid-sentence
Set a sleep timer, or stop at the end of the episode. The last thirty seconds fade out gently, and a shake of the phone adds more time.
Downloads that tidy themselves
Download any episode for the plane, have the newest episodes of chosen shows download on their own, and let played episodes clean themselves up.
Bring your shows with you
Switching from Pocket Casts, Overcast, Castro, AntennaPod or Podcast Addict takes a minute. Shows you already follow are skipped, and supporter feeds come along too.
- Export from your old app Look for “Export OPML” or “Export podcasts” in its settings.
- Open the file in Longwave Share it to Longwave, choose it from Files, or paste a link to it.
- Check the list and import New episodes start arriving in Latest straight away.
There’s nothing to sign up for. Your subscriptions and listening history stay on your phone, with no ads and no tracking.
The only thing Longwave sends us is an anonymous crash report when something goes wrong. Read the privacy policy.
